Former Paris Saint-Germain star Ezequiel Lavezzi was rushed to a hospital in Uruguay on Friday morning.

According to Clarin, the former winger was taken to the Sanatorio Cantegrill after possibly being stabbed, suffering a puncture to his abdomen and a fractured collarbone.

The news platform added that the incident occurred during an argument at a family party Lavezzi was hosting at his house.

However, the family has dismissed the reports with the claim that Lavezzi fell from a ladder while changing a lightbulb.
