The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, has congratulated Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State on his victory at the Supreme Court.
The apex court had on Friday affirmed Sani the elected governor of Kaduna State during the 2023 general elections, dismissing the petition of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Abbas, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Musa Krishi, said he had always known that Sani’s popularity in Kaduna and the massive support given were organic and borne out of genuine love for him by his people.
“He is loved by his people and with this victory, the governor will now focus more on good governance of the State,” the statement read in part.
Abbas, who wished Sani a successful tenure called on the people of Kaduna to continue to support and pray for the success of the administration, even as urged them to
expect more dividends of democracy from the Sani-led administration in the next four years.
