Arsenal were held to a 2-2 draw by 10-man Fulham at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday to deny the Gunners an opportunity of staying on top of the English Premier League table.

Fulham had taken a shocking lead in just one minute into the game following a blunder from Bukayo Saka.

Andreas Pereira got to the ball on the edge of the box after a huge mistake and slammed it into the back of the net.

The Gunners fought back but were unable to restore parity in the first half.

Arsenal equalised from the penalty spot on 70th minute. Saka put the ball into the bottom right corner past the outstretched arm of Bernd Leno.

Three minutes later, Fabio Vieira put a cross into the box and found Eddie Nketiah, who latched on to it and struck the ball low into the middle of the net to make it 2-1 for the Gunners.

Calvin Bassey was sent off on 83 minutes, which seemed to have given Arsenal the advantage to win the game.

But the visitors shocked the Gunners as they equalised three minutes to duration.

Harrison Reed put a cross into the box and found Joao Palhinha, who latched on to it and struck the ball into the bottom left corner to make it 2-2.
