PSG offers Osimhen N17.3BN annual salary

Must Read

French club, PSG is set to go the extra mile in pursuit of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen. Besides being prepared to meet the staggering buyout clause of Osimhen’s Napoli contract, PSG are also offering him a bumper salary.

According to II Mattino, the big-spending capital city club have put 13 Million Euros-a-year (about N17.3BN) on the table.

It has already been reported that PSG will meet the buyout clause of around 130 Million Euros for the 25-year-old striker.

They are now also ready to pay him a staggering 13 Million Euros, which puts in the shade the 10 Million Euros he earns at Napoli and which makes him the highest paid player in Italy.

It is believed that soon the negotiations will come to top gear after Kylian Mbappe would have made his way to Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, former Napoli man Bucchi has been impressed with what he has seen from the Nigeria international, and he has extolled his qualities.

“Osimhen, for me, is one of the best strikers in the world, because he brings together extraordinary physical characteristics: speed, elevation, excessive power,” he said, per Napoli Magazine.

“Over the years he has grown a lot, he scores a lot of goals, he weighs a lot in terms of the number of goals and is therefore decisive. Lastly, it is the attitude: I am someone who observes a lot, I take clips of the attitudes of the players, especially the most important ones. Every time there is a pass for Osimhen he turns and claps his hands with his teammate, one of the most beautiful things ever.

“Osimhen is a champion today and if he shows himself with humility and at the service of the team, he will encourage the rest of the team. I don’t know if he will stay in Naples, but he is certainly among the 5 best in the world.”

This season, Osimhen has kept up with his brilliance despite being hampered by injuries. He has registered 12 goals and three assists in 19 appearances for Napoli. Last week, he scored a superb goal to spur Napoli in their hard-fought win over Monza.
