Italian Serie A top side, AC Milan is set to splash the cash in the summer on Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze as the team is set to sign a new right winger following the departure of Brahim Diaz.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) on Sunday, the management of AC Milan is big admirers of the Villarreal winger, who is expected to be sold before the start of next season given his deal runs out in June 2024.
Milan is interested in Chukwueze, but the problem is that there is strong competition for the 24-year-old after a season in which he scored 13 goals and added 11 assists in 50 games for Villarreal across all competitions.
As a result, his asking price could well be over €30m with the risk of an auction starting.
A new meeting between Milan and Chukwueze’s agents is possible in the next few days, with the hope that the new management can sell the project to the Nigerian.
