Kebbi governorship tussle : Supreme Court reserves judgement

The five-member panel of the Supreme Court hearing the appeal seeking to upturn the election victory of Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris who is of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has reserved judgement in the case.
Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, who led the panel of apex court justices hearing the matter, on Tuesday, announced that parties would be notified when the judgement was ready for delivery.

The appeal was filed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 governorship election in Kebbi State, Aminu Bande. He seeks the setting aside aside of the judgment of the Court of Appeal, which upheld the verdict of the Election Petitions Tribunal which affirmed Idris as validly elected. I
