Firms partner to train youth on profitable employment

United Way Greater Nigeria (UWGN) is collaborating with pan-African people technology company, Spurt to train youth on profitable employment.The partnership is expected to have Spurt equip UWGN’s beneficiaries and top talents with free, career-boosting soft skills and professional training, propelling their careers to greater heights.

The Guardian also gathered that participants in UWGN programmes will undergo valuable training with Spurt, enriching their employability and broadening their skills to attract potential employers.

Commenting on the collaboration, Executive Director, UWGN, ‘Deola Durodola, said: “United Way worldwide network is dedicated to enhancing health, education and financial security across all communities, is excited to unveil a new collaboration with Spurt. Spurt is a pan-African people technology company that empowers business leaders and entrepreneurs to build great teams. This collaboration will integrate Spurt’s Training and Empowerment Programme (S.T.E.P) with UWGN’s Skills To Employment Programme (STEP), amplifying our collective efforts to empower individuals and communities.
