Diddy vows to ‘fight’ rape allegations after fourth accuser files suit

Must Read

Sean Combs, embattled entertainment mogul popularly known as Diddy, has spoken out regarding the several sexual assault allegations levelled against him in the past few weeks.

Four different woman have filed separate sexual assault suits against the rapper since mid-November this year. His accusers include former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, Joi Dickerson-Neal and two other women identified as Jane Doe.

In the most recent suit filed on Wednesday, the fourth accuser who identifies as Jane Doe claimed that the rapper, his associate Harve Pierre, and a third unidentified man, gang raped her in 2003.

According to the filing, the incident took place inside Combs’ recording studio in Manhattan after the plaintiff, a teenager at the time, was trafficked along state lines and fed “copious amounts of drugs and alcohol.”

The rapper has mostly remained silent since the suits started trooping in. He also stepped down as the Chairman of his company, Revolt TV amid the allegations.

However, shortly after the fourth filing,  the rapper took to his Twitter page to vehemently deny all the accusations levelled against him by the different women.

Combs claimed that the “sickening allegations” aimed at destroying his reputation were made by “individuals looking for a quick payday”.

“Enough is enough. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy,” he tweeted on Wednesday.

“Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family, and for the truth.”

Combs’s statement echoes the first press release by his lawyer, Ben Brafman after Ventura filed the first case. However, Combs chose to settle the case less than 24 hours after the suit went public.
