Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, aka Davido, and the governor of Osun state, Ademola Adeleke, have extended support to a physically challenged makeup artist and street hawker named Eniola.
Eniola, who is known as Glam by Eniola, came to light when popular skit maker Brain Jotter shared her plight online.
The comedian had gifted her N400,000 after their meeting.
In a viral video posted online, Eniola revealed that she had moved from Osun State to Lagos to hustle for a living. She not only hawked water on the streets but also worked as a makeup artist.
Upon seeing the video, Davido tagged his uncle, the governor of Osun state, Ademola Adeleke, in a post on his X account on Tuesday.
In response to Davido’s tag, Adeleke expressed his appreciation for sharing the video, praising Eniola’s dedication to honest work, which he found truly inspiring.
Adeleke said, “Thanks for sharing the video. Eniola’s dedication to making an honest living is inspiring. She embodies the qualities that represent Osun. I’ve directed my office to get in touch with her & explore possibilities to assist in advancing her education or improving her makeup skills.”
