Celebs, fans congratulate Nuhu, Asika, others on FG jobs

popular Kannywood actor and director, Ali Nuhu, has been appointed as the Managing Director, Nigerian Film Corporation, under the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy.

This was in addition to other appointments, including Tola Akerele as the Director-General, National Theatre; Shaibu Husseini as the Director-General, National Films and Censors Board; Obi Asika as the Director-General, National Council for Arts and Culture; Aisha Augie as the Director-General, Centre for Black and African Arts and Culture; Ekpolador-Ebi Koinyan as the Chief Conservator, National War Museum.

Others are Ahmed Sodangi as the Director-General, National Gallery of Art; Chaliya Shagaya as the Director-General, National Institute of Archeology and Museums Studies; Khaltume Gana as the Artistic Director, National Troupe of Nigeria; Biodun Ajiboye as the Director-General, National Institute for Cultural Orientation; Ramatu Mohammed as the Director-General, National Commission for Museums and Monuments.

This was made known in a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.

Since the news of the appointments was made known, it has continued to elicit reactions on social media.

An actress, Rahama Sadau, posted a picture of Nuhu on her page and added the caption, “Congratulations to @realalinuhu @aishaak49 @obiasika on your appointments. Wishing you great success with your new responsibilities.”

An actor, Uzee, posted a picture of Nuhu and wrote, “Huge congratulations sarki namu… worked so hard for this… Allah ya taya ka riko Oya o na we kukuma get office o. @realalinuhu.”
