Arsenal score twice in stoppage time to stun Red Devils

Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus scored two stoppage time goals as Arsenal thrashed Manchester United 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The match was heading to a draw when the duo struck within five minutes to nail United who were contented to snatch a point at Emirates, but they were disappointed.

Marcus Rashford opened scoring for the Red Devils midway into the first half. He made his way into the box without any help from his teammates and released a shot that ended in the right side of the goal, bouncing in off the post.

Arsenal equalised a minute later through Martin Odegaard, He has acres of space after latching on to a precise pass into the box. He did not hesitate to release a low effort which ended up in the bottom right corner.

Two minutes to duration, Alejandro Garnacho scored as he latched on to a pass on the edge of the box and unleashed a perfect strike that went behind the goalkeeper, but the referee ruled out the goal.

Six minutes into added time, Declan Rice  got a shot away from inside the box and the effort was deflected past the goalkeeper to give the homers 2-1 lead.

Arsenal were not done yet, five minutes later, Gabriel Jesus added the third goal for the Gunners.

Fabio Vieira laid the ball off to Jesus, who shot from close range into the bottom right corner, leaving the goalkeeper helpless.
