Electorate who thronged Polling Unit 026 at Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State were on Saturday morning disappointed as the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) failed to function.
Our correspondent who covered the unit reported that voting was yet to commence as of 1:30 pm at the unit.
An eye witness who gave her name as Yetunde Ogunlola said, “I have been here since 9 am and up till now election has not taken place.
“We learnt the BVAS machine is faulty. And they have just taken it away. Some people got here 7 am to exercise their civic rights”
