The Supreme Court has validated the election of Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State.
A five-member panel of the apex court in a unanimous decision, dismissed the appeal filed byLadi Adebutu and his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against Abiodun’s election.

Reading the lead judgement, Justice Tijjani Abubakar, resolved all the issues raised for determination against the appellants.
He said their appeal lacked merit as they failed to prove their case.
