Suspected kidnapper arrested by So-Safe Corps in Ogun

The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) has arrested one Bature Ibrahim, who was described as a notorious kidnap syndicate helmsman, creating security unrest in the Oke-Ogun axis of the state.

In a statement made available to DAILY POST on Sunday, the Director of Information of the Corps, Moruf Yusuf said officers and men of the Ogun government-owned security outfit were instructed to secure identified black spots across the state and also revisit the records of suspected kidnappers to effect arrests.

”Consequent upon this, Bature was picked up around 6pm along Olorunda-Imala road while attempting to escape through Olorunda town

“The suspect and the items found on him – clothes and Naira notes, have been handed over to the Nigeria Police Anti Kidnapping Department, State Headquarters, Eleweran, Ogun State Command by the Corps and the Seriki Fulani of Olorunda for further investigation and likely prosecution,” Yusuf said.
