Shooting Stars head coach Gbenga Ogunbote has attributed his team’s defeat by Lobi Stars to carelessness.
The Oluyole Warriors suffered a 2-1 defeat against Lobi Stars at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.
Waheed Adebayo gave Lobi Stars the lead in the early minutes of the game, while Gideon Monday levelled up for Shooting Stars before the end of the first half.
Orji Kalu scored from the spot five minutes from time to secure victory for the Pride of Benue.

Ogunbote said it was unfortunate that his team failed to secure a point in the game.
“In the game, at worst, we deserved a point but unfortunately, it came the other way round,” he stated in a post-match interview.
“We are a little bit careless with the penalty but we take the positives from the game and move on.”
Shooting Stars currently occupy the third position on the table.
