Mane scored Senegal’s winning penalty

The Teranga Lions of Senegal has stopped the Pharaoh of Egypt from qualifying for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, winning 3-1 in a penalty.

Senegal had earlier in January ended Egypt’s dream of winning their 9th Nations Cup trophy, beating the Egyptians on penalty to claim their first-ever nations cup trophy.

In today’s game, the match had ended with Senegal winning 1-0 in Dakar but tied on 1-1 on aggregate.

Egypt had won the first leg 1-0 in Cairo last week. With the match tied at 1-1, the game went through the 30 minutes of extra time without another.

Mohamed Salah and two other Egyptian players missed their kicks, with Senegal scoring three kicks.

As it was at the AFCON final, Sadio Mane stepped in to send the keeper to his left and scored into the middle of the goal.

Senegal had earlier in the match scored on three minutes, scoring from a terrible mistake from the Egyptians.
