A budding afrobeats singer and songwriter, Oreoluwakitan Adenuga, aka Princess Ade, is set to release a new single titled, ‘Local’.
In a statement sent to the United Kingdom-based singer described it as a feel-good song that was meant to lighten the moods of her fans.Recalling how she started her music career, the singer said, “Since the age of five, I started learning how to play the piano. From there, my love for music grew into a deep passion. When I was 11, I started classical singing. I was a member of the orchestra and choir in school. I also sang in church until I was 18 years old. While in the university, I was also a member of a gospel choir, and we won an award.”
She however started recording music in 2016. According to her, she fuses old school RnB and afro-piano.
Reeling out the highlights of her career, she said, “It was a wonderful experience performing alongside afrobeats singer, Zlatan, at his 2021 sold-out concert at the 02 Indigo, UK.
“I also released my debut single, ‘Moving On’ in May 2022. I am currently working on songs for my debut Extended Play album as an independent artiste.”
