Peter Obi takes Plateau, Atiku wins Kaduna

Peter Obi of the Labour Party has won the presidential election held in Plateau State on Saturday, beating Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Obi polled 466,272 votes to win the election, while Tinubu scored 307,195 votes to come second.

Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 243,808 votes to come third while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) got 8,869.

In Kaduna State, Atiku won by defeating Tinubu of the APC. The PDP’s candidate polled 554,360 votes to defeat Tinubu, who got 399,293 votes.

Obi came third with 294,494 votes while Kwankwaso of the NNPP got 92,696 votes.
