A 23-year-old wanted notorious cultist, Abass Fatai popularly known as Agbefawo has been arrested by policemen in Osogbo, Osun State.
The Osun Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed that the suspect was arrested at Oke-Baale, Osogbo, around 5:30 pm.
According to Opalola, the suspect is one of the most wanted and notorious cultists in Osogbo.
She said, “the suspect was apprehended at School road area, Oke-Baale, Osogbo, by anti-cultism team on a trip off base on the information.
“The suspect, 23 years, confessed to being a member of an eye confraternity and he joined the deadly group in the year 2016.
“He was apprehended by a team of anti-cultism squad Osogbo and one locally made pistol and one live cartridge were recovered from the suspect and he confessed to multiple killings in Osogbo,’ Opalola added.
