Mrs Joy Osondu has cried out for financial help to enable her family treat her son who is down with kidney failure.

“I’m Joy Osondu, mother of Chinonso Osondu who is dealing with a life threatening condition.

“Chinonso is an 18-year-old young man who was born with a kidney condition that resulted in kidney failure in February this year.

“He is receiving dialysis at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, twice in a week.

“He needs a kidney transplant to save his life but the family cannot afford the surgery. His uncle is willing to donate one of his kidneys.

“The cost of kidney transplant at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, according to the doctor is N10 million. We have no means of affording such amount of money to save his life.

“He was studying to be an engineer and hoping to contribute to Nigeria and the world at large before the kidney problem caused him to quit school.

“He is hopeful and staying resilient, but hanging on your goodwill and kindness. Please, we beg you, help us save his life. “His life is dependent on your kindness and generosity.

“Thank you for sharing, donating and for praying for us.

“Please share. No donation is too small. May God bless you as you make this sacrifice.”
