Manchester City beat Leeds United on Saturday at the Etihad Stadium to go four points clear at the top of premier league.
City opened scoring on 19 minutes through Ilkay Gundogan.
Riyad Mahrez played a short, square pass into the path of Gundogan, who bent a shot straight into the bottom right corner to make it 1-0.
City doubled on 27 minutes after Riyad Mahrez teed up Gundogan on the edge of the box and he fired the ball into the bottom left corner for his brace.
Weston McKennie, on 29 minutes peeled away from his marker and got on the end of the resulting corner, but he sent his header straight at the goalkeeper.
Erling Haaland on 62 minutes latched onto a short pass just on the edge of the box and shot, but his effort beat the keeper but came back off the right post.
Gundogan missed a penalty on 84 minutes that would helped him score his first hat-trick. He failed to score from the penalty as his shot only hit the right post.
A minute later, Leeds pulled one back. It was a wonderful finish from Rodrigo, as he drilled a low shot precisely into the bottom left corner.
