I’m yet to hear from my wife, daughters’ abductors – Kaduna community leader cries

Malam Ibrahim Tanko, a community leader in Kaduna State, has raised the alarm that he is yet to hear from kidnappers of his wife and two daughters.

The community leader, while speaking to journalists in Kaduna on Saturday, said since the abduction of his wife and two daughters, whose wedding are due in March, 2022, the abductors have only called to ask him for his phone password.

Gunmen suspected to be bandits had on February 17, 2022, invaded the house of Sarkin Hausawa, in Anguwar Azara in Jere, along Abuja-Kaduna highway, and kidnapped his wife, and two daughters.

However, since their abductions, the kidnappers have not called for to demand ransom.

“Actually, when I managed to escape through one of the exit doors, I couldn’t remember to carry my phones. The bandits went away the phones. They called on Thursday to demand the passwords of my phones,” he said.

According to him, since he had sent them the password, nothing has been heard from them just as he pleaded with the security operatives to search for his abducted family.
