She said, “The vocational empowerment would focus on training the students with practical hands-on experience in at least 19 practical skills, while the mentorship empowerment sessions will be anchored by notable resource persons who are proficient in various fields of life endeavours.”

“The resource persons will share practical life experiences and charge, with the objective of helping the students to discover, harness and deploy their God-given potentials, skills and gifts towards making themselves valuable to their immediate society in particular and the Nation at large,” she added.

Expected at the event is the keynote speaker, Pastor J. F Odesola, the Continental Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God Continent 3 and a host of other facilitators.

She further stated that the conference which marks the one-year anniversary of the foundation would be attended by representatives of the Lagos State Ministry of Education.

“The program will also feature a creative dancing competition and recitation geared towards the physical, social and mental development of the students.

“The conference is part of our corporate social responsibility (CSR); a channel through which we give back to society by investing in the spiritual, educational, vocational and social development of the participants,” she added.
