Manchester United legend, Patrice Evra wants the club’s new interim manager Ralf Rangnick to ‘shake’ Marcus Rashford.
Evra said he is becoming ‘frustrated’ by the England international, expressing disappointment by Rashford’s first-half display in Thursday’s 3-2 victory over Arsenal.
Rangnick, who got his work permit a day before the game, watched the match from the stands.
Evra, who won plenty of titles with United, believes the new boss has been brought in partly to ‘shake up’ the players.
Rashford has struggled to find his best form for the Red Devils and has failed to score in his last six appearances.
Evra told Prime Video: “I want a player like Marcus Rashford playing more forward. I don’t know why he keeps passing the ball back.
“He’s starting to get frustrated. We’re talking about Rangnick and he’s coming here to shake the players. The first one to be honest is Rashford.
“With the pace he’s got, the ability he’s got, I don’t understand why he doesn’t have that killer instinct and just go for the player one vs one.”
