Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo made another history on Thursday night when he became the first football player in history to score 800 competitive goals.
The Portuguese is now on 801 goals after he netted twice to help United beat Arsenal 3-2 in a Premier League thriller at Old Trafford.
The history was made in front of the incoming interim boss, Ralf Rangnick, who watched from the stands, taking notes.
Emile Smith Rowe’s put the visitors in front through a controversial goal but Bruno Fernandes equalised on the stroke of half-time, before Ronaldo put the hosts ahead after the break.
Martin Odegaard levelled for Arsenal before the Portugal legend made no mistake from the spot.
