Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has labelled remarks made by club legend Thierry Henry as “just another opinion”.
Henry, in an interview this week, questioned the Gunners’ progress under Arteta.
Arsenal have won 10 points from their last four Premier League fixtures, but Henry doesn’t feel things are going in “the right direction”.
When asked whether he had read Henry’s comments, Arteta told a press conference on Thursday: “I haven’t. I am just hearing them from you.”
Henry also said Arsenal had “suffered” in their 0-0 draw at Brighton in their most recent league game.
Pressed on whether it was helpful for a former player to make such remarks, Arteta added: “It’s just another opinion. You have to respect that.”
