Enugu overtakes FCT, others as NCDC confirms 371 fresh cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 371 fresh cases of coronavirus, (COVID-19) in many states across the country.

The development brings the total number of recorded cases since February 2020 to 158,906.

Among the 158,906 cases confirmed so far, 138,502 patients have been successfully treated and discharged from various isolation centres across the country, while about 1,982 persons have died.

DAILY POST reports that the total number of active COVID-19 cases in the country as at March 9, stands at 18,422.

The health agency made the announcement yesterday night via a tweet on its verified Twitter handle.
