Edem Edem: NUJ visits late DAILY POST reporter’s widow in Calabar ahead of burial

A large delegation of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has paid a condolence visit to the family of there late Edem Edem who was the reporter of DAILY POST in Cross River State.

The delegation was led by the Chairman of the council, Comrade Victor Dan Udu which comprises of some of his direct Exco members as well as leadership and members of the state Correspondents Chapel where late Edem was a prominent member.

Until his death, late Edem was a key official of the state council.

Edem who was a chief in his local community in Akpabuyo LGA of the state, died about two months ago after a lingering aliment.

Th NUJ Cross River State council, the state Correspondents Chapel, Spotlight Initiative and some individuals and families who took part in the visit presented envelopes to the wife towards the burial slated to hold on Saturday, 30 October 2021 in Calabar.

In a note of thanks, secretary of the NUJ in the state, Comrade Oka Ibor thanked the delegation which paid the condolence visit on the late Edem Edem’s family.
