DJ Timmy urges entertainers to take education seriously

Must Read

A disc jockey, Kubeyinje Ayodeji, aka Baddest Timmy, has advised entertainers to stop promoting the narrative that education is a scam.

The entertainer, who recently bagged a Master’s degree in Project Management from BPP University in the United Kingdom, told“Some artistes wrongly project the idea that school is a scam, but that is wrong. School is not a scam. I have learnt so many things about life, and I am very proud to have come this far. Education is a lifelong process, as it broadens one’s knowledge base and makes one have different perspectives and outlooks to life. I am glad I made the choice to obtain a Master’s degree.

“My parents have always wanted me to have a proper education, so I honoured them by getting a Master’s degree. I now live in the United Kingdom, but I am still very much in touch with my music roots,”

Timmy, who has worked with artistes such as Ice Prince, Skales, Orezi, Peruzzi and Skiibii, also noted that he was about to sign a 19-year-old artiste to his label, Starlight Management. He added, “I am currently making the final arrangements to sign an artiste and offer him a ‘proper’ management deal. He will be unveiled soon, and he will put out his first body of work.

“Also, I am currently on the Life is Beautiful European Tour. I intend to visit 12 countries, though I have already been to Malta and Portugal, where I played at several clubs.”
