The Oloso of Oso Ajowa and Chairman of Ajowa Traditional Council of Obas in Ondo State, Oba Clement Omoola, has said the days he spent in kidnappers den were traumatic.
The monarch, who spoke at his palace on Tuesday, added that he had been unable to speak about his experience after his release because he was traumatised.
Omoola had spent 10 days in kidnappers den after he was abducted from his palace in Ajowa, which shares border with Kogi State, and was released after a N10million ransom was paid.
The monarch called on the Ondo State Government to pay more attention to the area in terms of security and establish a police station in there, saying the area is vulnerable to crimes being a border town.
The monarch called for incentives to be given to local vigilante groups in the community to help them be able to complement regular security agents, while urging land owners to register strangers working on their farmlands as directed by the Ondo State Government as a way to fight crimes in the area.
