The acting Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ade Adetimehin has emerged as the state chairman of the party.
Adetimehin was returned during the State Congress of the party held at the International Culture & Event Centre, the Dome, Akure.
The APC Chairman, who emerged unopposed, was affirmed by the delegates from across the 18 local government areas of the state who converged on the Dome.
Meanwhile, during the process, the delegates who participated in the election of the new officials adhered strictly to COVID-19 protocols amidst mild security details.
The Congress was chaired by the lawmaker representing Mikang/Shendam/Quaan-Pan Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Komsol Longgap.
