Chelsea were heavily defeated 4-2 by Wolves at Stamford Bridge on Sunday condemning them to the 11th position in the premier league.
Chelsea had opened the scoring in the 19th minute of the first half with a superb finishing from Cole Palmer. Moises Caicedo played a fantastic through ball and found Palmer, who reacted quickly to get in front of the goalkeeper and fired a close-range shot into the bottom left corner.
Three minutes later, Wolves drew level. Joao Gomes played the ball to Matheus Cunha, whose deflected shot from inside the box went past the helpless Djordje Petrovic.
The Blues were 1-2 down two minutes to the end of the first half. Axel Disasi deflected the ball past his goalkeeper and into the goal after trying to jump in the way of a shot.
