Artiste development key for record label growth — Don Crucifixto

Must Read

A singer and record label executive, Tumininu Oluyole, aka Don Crucifixto, has said that for record labels to experience holistic growth, they have to pay quality attention to the development of the artistes on their roster.

Crucifixto, who is based in the United States of America, said, “Signing artistes to a record label goes beyond just shooting videos and coordinating the promotion of their works. For artistes to truly reach their potential, they have to well rounded. Unfortunately, many record labels don’t pay attention to that, and that is why they usually have problems with those artistes down the line.”

He added that was why he always carried the artistes signed to his label along every step of the way. Speaking on his collaboration with Adedoyin Igbalajobi, aka Wetly, who is signed to his label, on the song, ‘Agba Baller’, Don Crucifixto said, “I am very big on talent discovery and nurturing. I decided to feature Wetly on this song to give her more visibility. She is a very talented artiste, and I have no doubt that she will go far in the music industry.

“On the other hand, the song talks about a limitless lover of life. It also encourages, motivates, and entertains listeners. I believe there is no limit to what one can achieve.”
