Chief John Okiyi Kalu, the Commissioner for Information in Abia State, has stated that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has changed the narrative of governance of the state especially in the area of infrastructure and entrepreneurship.
The Commissioner also said a greater Abia has been achieved under the Ikpeazu-led government, assuring that there are more to come in every aspect of governance of the state.
He stated that the present administration has been able to ensure peace adding that the state has witnessed inflow of local and foreign business Investments.
Kalu stated this dur ing an interview with newsmen shortly after a special church thanksgiving service held on Saturday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church Abia North-Central conference (ABNC), in Umuahia North Local Government Area of the state.

The thanksgiving church service was part of the activities lined up for the celebration of the 30th creation of Abia State under the military administration of Retired Major General Ibrahim Badamosi Babaginda in 1991.
According to the Information Commissioner, “Our future is greater than that of the others, because we are number one in education.
“Under the watch of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, our narrative has changed positively, whether in terms of entrepreneurship or Infrastructural development.
“There is hope for a greater Abia, because we have peace. There is hope because our people are prospering now even more than before.
“Our entrepreneurs in Aba are doing very well. We are confident that God will ensure the rest that concerns us is concluded peacefully and progressively.
“Abia people are already getting better lives under the watch of Governor Ikpeazu. All aspects of life in Abia will continue to change positively, and most importantly, Abia will never leave God, and that is the assurance from Governor Okezie Ikpeazu”.
Meanwhile, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has reaffirmed the determination of his administration to transform the infrastructural architecture of Umuahia, Aba and environs to one of the best among the comity of States.
He thanked God for his faithfulness and mercies over the years, especially during the dreaded years that kidnapping and other criminalities made the state to be deserted by prominent businessmen and women as well as discouraged investors to abandon the state and stall development.
The Governor lauded Abia founding fathers for their efforts that led to the creation of the State and assured that his administration will not relent in taking the state to greater heights.
