A Pan-Yoruba social political group, the Majeobaje Movement has delivered a fourteen point ‘Good Governance Charter’ to the President-elect, Major General Muhammadu Buhari, saying the content of the charter would enhance good governance if implemented by the in-coming administration.
The convener of Majeobaje Movement, Chief Akintayo Akin-Deko, while addressing newsmen in Ibadan, Oyo State capital on Tuesday, said the ‘Good Governance Charter’ contains restoration of security, eradication of corruption, ensuring rule of law, infrastructural development, constitutional reform, poverty alleviation among others.
“This is the minimum requirement that Majeobaje Movement deem necessary to achieve good governance in Nigeria.”
