Three Nigerian immigrants allegedly fighting alongside Colonel Muammar Gaddafi’s soldiers, have been reportedly killed by the National Transition Council (NTC) forces at Sirte, the hometown of the ousted Libyan leader.
According to Hamada Radio International monitored in Kaduna yesterday, those killed were Ugochukwu Okafor, aged 33; Emeka Aloysius Mohammed, 33 and Braimoh Robinson Garba, 30.
About two weeks ago, President, Goodluck Jonathan gave recognition to the Libyan NTC and appealed to the African Union to assist the NTC in bringing an end to the conflict in the Libyan country. But the attacks on black African have continued to persist as the rebel forces consider them a threat.
