ABUJA- The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr Mohammed Adoke, says the Administration of Justice and the Cybercrime Prohibition, Prevention Acts 2015 will enhance dispensation of justice.
It would be recalled that both Acts were signed into law on May 15 by President Goodluck Jonathan.
Presenting the Acts to the public on Tuesday in Abuja, Adoke said that the Acts were in fulfillment of the yearnings for a legislation to enhance the administration of justice in the country.
“The Administration of Criminal Justice Act 2015 and the Cybercrime Prohibition, Prevention Act 2015 that has been publicly presented is (are) in fulfillment of the reform agenda and a befitting response to the yearnings of stakeholders in the justice sector.
“For a legislation that encapsulates all the ingredients that enhance the administration of justice and one that effectively criminalises acts that have contributed to the negative image and perception of Nigerians all over the world. Read More →
