…Commends Buhari’s anti-corruption war
FORMER minister of finance, Dr. Kalu Idika Kalu has described the high level of poverty in Nigeria as unacceptable considering the enormous resources of the country.
Dr. Kalu, who attributed the development to corruption in the system called on all Nigerians to rally strongly behind the anti-corruption crusade of the current administration of President Muhammad Buhari.
He stated this on Tuesday in Lagos at the second Prof Eni Njoku Memorial Lecture organised by the Igbo Students Union of the University of Lagos in collaboration with Ndigbo Lagos.

President-elect Muhammadu Buhari has accused the outgoing Goodluck Jonathan government of not giving him “tips” on how to kick-start his administration on May 29.
He spoke on Thursday when a committee from the Centre for Human Security of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, presented a five-point policy document to him at the Buhari Support Organisation office in Abuja.

A think-tank constituted by former President Olusegun Obasanjo to support the incoming administration’s transition yesterday presented its report to the President-elect, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd).
The comprehensive reports cover five key sectors of the economy, including security, power, education and infrastructure.
