Three persons were at the weekend, feared dead in a ghastly motor accident, which occurred in Oro in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The eldest son of a member of the state House of Assembly, Alhaja Nimota Ibrahim, who was simply identified as Shola Oniyangi and Layiwola Agboola, son of a retried Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) officer, Sogo Agboola, and another person were said to have died in the motor accident.
The incident, according to THISDAY checks, occurred on Saturday night at Oro, while they were on their way back from a wedding party in Ekiti State.
It was further gathered that the driver of the vehicle was the only survivor of the accident.
Already, the remains of the son of the lawmaker in the state had been buried at the Muslim cemetery along new Yidi road, Ilorin, according to Islamic rites.
But sources close to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Ilorin told THISDAY that the corpses of the two other victims had been deposited in the mortuary of the hospital.
However, the Chief Imam of Oniyangi mosque, Ilorin was said to have led the burial prayer for the late Sola whose mother, Alhaja Nimota Ibrahim, was said to be in South Africa as at the time of this report.
When contacted, the spokesman of the state Police Command, Mr. Daboh Ezekiel, said the incident had not been reported to the police headquarters as at the time of filing this report.
