New Super Eagles coach, Lars Lagerback will earn $1.5m for the five months he will be in-charge of the team, Complete Sports has been told.
The money will cover the erstwhile Sweden coach’s salary a well as that of his foreign assistants including Roland Andersson who will be his right hand man in the new look technical crew of the Eagles.
The money,Complete Sports also gathered will be coughed out by the Presidential Task Force on Eagles 2010 World Cup qualification headed by River state Governor,Rotimi Amaechi.
Lagerback will be unveiled on Wednesday by the Nigeria Football Federation at a ceremony scheduled to hold at the mainbowl of the ultra-modern Abuja National stadium shortly before the largely home-based Super Eagles team play against Congo in an exhibition game.
Complete Sports can also reveal that Lagerback and his two agents were hosted to a dinner at a popular Chinese restaurant Sunday evening by the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation headed by Sani Lulu.
Others present at the dinner included NFF technical sub-committee head,chief Taiwo Ogunjobi,NFF secretary general,Bolaji Ojo-Oba and Super Eagles team secretay,Dayo Enebi.
