The state Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Muhammad Garba, announced this at a news briefing on the outcome of the State Executive Council on Thursday in kano.
The commissioner said the commodity would be sold to farmers at subsidised rate.
According to him, this will go a long way in boosting food production and facilitate food security in the state.
He said the council also approved N80 million for the furnishing of the newly constructed and renovated office complex for the principal officers of the Kano State House of Assembly.
He expressed government’s determination to develop infrastructure in the state as part of the initiatives to improve the welfare of the people
