Three armed robbers were killed yesterday by the Joint Task Force (JTF) in Maiduguri, Borno State in a shootout.
It was gathered that the men with the intention of robbing pretended as if they were members of the Boko Haram sect.
A source at the JTF revealed the three armed robbers disguised as members of the sect.
The source said luck ran out on them when the JTF was alerted to their activities, a situation which the JTF immediately moved in and in the gun battle killed the three suspects.
Spokesman of the JTF in the state, Lieutenant Colonel Sagir Musa, while confirming the killing online casino in a telephone interview with journalists, said: “Three armed robbers who disguise as Boko Haram terrorists were today (yesterday) killed during a shootout with the Joint Task Force (JTF) in Maiduguri town.”
The spokesman, who asked for the assistance of the public in given timely information, said “the JTF will deal decisive with armed robbers who disguise as Boko Haram terrorist.”
He also assured that the military was ready to treat the information provided as confidentiality.
