Super Eagles’ new Technical Adviser, Lars Lagerback, has promised to give Nigeria the best in his duty as the senior national team’s new manager.

Lagerback gave the assurance during his unveiling to the Nigerian public in Abuja, organised by his employer, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). The Swede said that in carrying out his duties, he would go round the country to get the best legs for the Super Eagles.
Lagerback confessed that he was overwhelmed by the warm reception and support Nigerians had given him since he came into the country, promising to meet the yearnings of Nigerians to get the best team to represent the nation at the South Africa 2010 World Cup.
“This week has been a very fantastic one for me and I promise to give my best to Nigeria.

“I understand the yearnings of Nigerians, and I can assure that the best materials will make my team.
“The coach acknowledged that coaching Super Eagles would be demanding but reiterated that the players would receive maximum attention from him.
“Every player would be given the opportunity and as far as you are the best material you will make my team.
