Genevieve fetes Chimamanda

Nollywood top actress, Genevieve Nnaji, will feature in the film adaptation of Chimamanda Ngozi-Adichie’s novel, ‘Half of a Yellow Sun’.

She will be playing the role of Ms Adebayo, in the Orange Prize-winning novel set during the Nigerian civil war.

Nnaji will be joined by other stars such as Chiwetel Ejiofor, Anika Noni Rose and Thandie Newton in the eagerly anticipated film.

Half of a Yellow Sun will be produced by BAFTA winning producer, Andrea Calderwood and Gail Egan, and directed by Biyi Bandele.
