The Federal Government on Tuesday carried out a major shake -up in the aviation industry, with the removal of three heads of aviation agencies namely- the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mr. Richard Aisuebeogun, the Chief Executive of Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Alhaji Ibrahim Auyo and the Rector of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Captain Adebayo Araba.

According to sources, Aisuebeogun has been replaced by Mr. George Ureisi, who was a director of airport operations, while, the former director of electronic services, Nnamdi Udoh, now assumes duties as the managing director of NAMA.
The former head of the flying school at the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Captain Chinyere Kalu, takes over as the college new rector.
