UPER Eagles’ Technical Adviser, Lars Lagerback believes the Nigerian team can beat any country at the forthcoming World Cup finals in South Africa.

Lagerback told sportswriters in Abuja that he had been studying the tapes of Eagles matches at the 2010 Nations Cup in Angola and has seen the bright sides of the team.

”I have the tapes of the Eagles matches at the Nations Cup and they have been helpful in my analysis,” Lagerback explains.

”For me I see the potentialities of the players. When we work hard and stay focused, we can beat any team at the World Cup.

Remember, Nigeria has the World Cup experience but this is not what we have in mind, beating anybody means we should be ready to stay focussed, be mentally strong and know what to do in trainings and games”.
