Ace comedian, Atunyota Alleluya Akporobomerere, popularly called Ali Baba, has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to close down all South African companies in Nigeria.
Ali Baba, who took to his twitter handle @ALIBABAGCFR, joined other celebrities in condemning the ongoing xenophobic attacks in South Africa.
The veteran commedian in his tweets, called on the Nigerian government to act decisively by closing down all the South African companies in Nigeria, noting that this will check the excesses of those South Africans attacking Nigerians.
He maintained that all South African compnies in Nigeria must be made to close shop and leave the country if nothing was done to stop the attacks.
Ali Baba’s tweet, which was tweeted in capital letters read: “SERIOUSLY, OUR GOVT SHLD GIVE THE S/AFRICAN GOVT 48HRS & IF THE GOVT MAKES NO AMENDS, LET US ASK, MTN, DSTV, BANKS, SHOPRITE TO CLOSE SHOP.”
